About the position

The Marketing and Communications Leader at Winged Keel Group will oversee the strategic direction and execution of marketing initiatives, event planning, and internal and external communications. This role is crucial for enhancing the firm's brand presence and ensuring effective communication with ultra-high net worth clients and industry partners. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional leadership and organizational skills while managing a team dedicated to marketing excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Marketing and Communications team, providing vision and direction for all marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee event planning for curated marketing events, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall strategy.
  • Manage a team to execute events, including venue selection, invitation design, RSVP tracking, and budgeting.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, strategic partners, and event sponsors.
  • Manage annual event budgets for all regional offices.
  • Oversee website updates and content to ensure consistency with the firm's marketing message.
  • Maintain marketing lists in Salesforce and create campaigns for tracking marketing activities.
  • Develop and manage the company's social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn.
  • Communicate and promote PR activities and results within the firm.
  • Draft compelling content for email communications targeting influential bankers, financial advisors, estate attorneys, and CPAs.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all communications and marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture department on talent acquisition marketing campaigns.
  • Mentor and develop a team of Marketing & Communications specialists.
  • Monitor and measure performance of marketing activities and present results to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a top tier college, preferably in English, Public Relations, or Communications.
  • 8-10 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably in financial services.
  • Experience working with ultra-high net worth clients.
  • Strong mastery of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Superior business writing skills and advanced proficiency in email and social media marketing best practices.
  • Strong writing and content development skills for sophisticated finance and business professionals.
  • Sophisticated and articulate speaker with confidence to present to top-level executives.
  • Experience with website content management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with high organization and detail orientation.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with initiative to drive market awareness.
  • Demonstrated experience in event planning and project management.
  • Proficiency with Photoshop, Salesforce, and Canva is a plus.
