About the position
The Ski and Ride School Snowmobile Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting guests and instructors to their designated locations within the ski resort. This seasonal role is vital for enhancing the guest experience and ensuring operational excellence at the Ski and Ride School. The driver will play a key role in meeting the established targets for both employee and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Shuttle guests and instructors to their proper locations safely and quickly.
- Ensure a high level of customer service during transportation.
- Operate snowmobiles and side-by-sides in various weather conditions.
- Maintain awareness of safety issues while driving, including other snowmobiles and skiers.
- Assist in meeting or exceeding targets for employee and guest experience.
Requirements
- Commit to working from December 1 through the end of the season in late April.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs.
- Fluency in all aspects of the English language.
- Ability to handle snowmobiles in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work outside at high elevation in various weather conditions.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
Nice-to-haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating snowmobiles recreationally or through employment.
- High degree of customer service experience.
- Snowmobile Certification.
- Acute awareness of safety issues related to snowmobiling.
