About The Position

nbkc bank is currently looking for a Wire Operations Specialist II to join our Deposit Operations team. The Wire Operations Specialist II handle daily wire operations, cover various desks, and contribute to projects and audits. You'll assist customers in a Call Center, process reports, and coordinate with the finance team. Your role includes verifying wire transfers, handling privacy requests, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. This position will work @Flex (a combination of both in the office and at home) based out of our Kansas City, MO office.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must have a High School Degree or equivalent.
• 2 years of back-office banking experience.
• Knowledge of banking products/services and regulations/compliance.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational functions, relating to Wire Operations, at an expert level.
• Act as a key contributor on department projects and initiatives.
• Act as a key contributor on audit and research requests.
• Assist customers with inquiries and requests in a Call Center environment.
• Process daily operational reports and coordinate processing of items within the Core Processing system.
• Serve as a liaison with corporate finance department regarding general ledger entries and related deposit functions posted to the Federal Reserve G/L.
• Provide verification for all Wire Transfers, both domestic and international, via the respective Correspondent Banks online web portals, as part of a dual control process.
• Assist with Right to Financial Privacy requests, which can include summons and subpoenas.
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Wire Team Lead.
