About the position

The Wireless Bluetooth QA Engineer will be part of the Sensing and Connectivity team at Apple, focusing on ensuring the quality and performance of Bluetooth features in Apple's innovative products. This role involves both manual and automated testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving quality improvements to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Validate Bluetooth features manually and with automation.
• Drive quality and champion bug fixes, working closely with the development team.
• Analyze root causes for issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
• Design comprehensive test plans for new features, considering technical details and customer experience.
• Triage discrepancies and monitor customer issues.
• Conduct both documented and ad hoc testing to ensure high-quality releases.
• Maintain and debug test setups and scripts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in defining test plans and creating test cases based on technical specifications and feature requirements.
• 2 years of experience in validating and testing products with expertise in Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, Audio, or Wireless RF protocols.
• 1 year of experience in developing testing scripts using Python, Perl, or other programming languages.

• Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins is a plus.
