About the position

The Hardware Technology Engineering Program Management team at Apple is seeking an inventive and high-energy Engineering Program Specialist (EPS) to manage key areas of Hardware Technology programs. This role involves working with large multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment, requiring flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The EPS will be responsible for coordinating critical processes related to silicon delivery and ensuring efficient execution of hardware technology projects.

Responsibilities

  • Connect to suppliers and obtain RFQs.
  • Track PRs/POs and Invoices, providing monthly expense/cost summaries.
  • Assist in getting PRs approved and POs released to vendors.
  • Maintain demand & distribution trackers for hardware builds.
  • Coordinate with Silicon EPS / Productization EPM / RFHW EPM on module availabilities.
  • Support end-to-end material procurement and work with EEs on solutions for long lead-time parts.
  • Track material deliveries to builds and maintain material inventory.
  • Coordinate with PCB vendors and assembly contractors for Clear-To-Build timelines and board delivery schedules.
  • Request SMT/Assembly and track/support build matrix.
  • Arrange for hardware reworks with local vendors.
  • Maintain requestor shipping addresses and carry out board distribution via shipping carriers.
  • Support hardware material, board local pickups & returns.

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant industry experience.
  • Inventory Management experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of product industry experience or participation in the CE program for a relevant and similar discipline.
  • Proven experience in organizing storage room, managing shipments & deliveries, and accounting for stocks & shortages.
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet and chart-creation tools (Excel, Numbers, Tableau, ...).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a multi-functional team.
  • Desire to expand knowledge of data analysis and learn new inventory management software.
  • Creative and open to collaboration and new ideas.
