About the position

The Wireless Networking Engineer role at Logicalis involves providing professional services related to infrastructure consulting, design, implementation, and knowledge transfer for clients. The engineer will act as a technical resource, delivering expertise and guidance in wireless network solutions, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform implementations of overall solutions for clients, including development of solution designs, implementation plans, and documentation.
  • Develop Logicalis standards for scoping, documentation, and implementations.
  • Provide guidance, assistance, and recommendations for new technical services and solutions for clients' businesses.
  • Develop Low Level Design (LLD) plans, reports, and/or documentation for projects.
  • Satisfy client technology services and solution requirements using best practices in design, planning, implementation, validation, testing, documentation, knowledge transfer, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Work directly with clients to gather requirements, design solutions, and build proof of concepts.
  • Deliver consultative-based knowledge transfer and documentation to clients.
  • Collaborate with Resource Management Office (RMO), Project Management Office (PMO), and Engagement Manager (EM) in scheduling and managing engagements.
  • Perform assessments, health checks, performance tests, and capacity planning for clients.
  • Responsible for product evaluation, process improvement, and practice refinement activities.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients by demonstrating strong listening skills and maintaining focus on client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of technical experience in design, implementation, and support of wireless network solutions.
  • Experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers and Access Points, Meraki Wireless, Indoor and Outdoor Wireless MESH Networks, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Mobility Services Engine, and other wireless technologies.
  • Strong technical writing skills to develop Low Level Design (LLD) plans, reports, and documentation.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate - Wireless (CCNA Wireless) or Cisco Certified Network Professional - Wireless (CCNP Wireless).

Benefits

  • Salary compensation range of $90,000 to $110,000 plus bonus.
