About the position

The Wireless Retail Sales Associate at TravelCenters of America is responsible for driving sales through new activations, upgrades, and accessory sales while providing exceptional customer service. This role focuses on growing the wireless customer base and ensuring a positive shopping experience for travelers. The position requires collaboration with management on inventory control and adherence to company policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed personal sales targets for new activations, upgrades, and accessories monthly.
• Provide excellent customer service to grow the wireless customer base.
• Work with management on inventory management controls.
• Participate in sales generation through non-traditional retail prospecting methods.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of wireless promotions, products, and services.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the wireless store location.
• Communicate frequently with managers and co-workers.
• Understand and follow TA safety guidelines and company policies.

Requirements

• One year of wireless sales experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
