About the position
The Bilingual Wireless Retail Store Manager at Alliance Mobile is responsible for leading a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role involves managing store profitability, coaching employees, and fostering a collaborative culture within the store. The manager will also engage with the community and adapt to the dynamic wireless industry environment.
Responsibilities
- Maximize profits in all aspects of the business
- Coach and develop employees to ensure efficiency and performance in the location
- Interview, hire, and make necessary discipline decisions, including terminations, for store personnel
- Complete training requirements with each staff member on a weekly basis
- Create and maintain store scheduling
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and coaching skills consistently
- Support team and assist with customer transactions
- Perform role plays with personnel on a regular basis to demonstrate 'what right looks like'
- Partner with trainers to complete new hire training/on-boarding
- Comply with corporate policies for deposits, mail, communication, etc.
- Maintain the integrity of the company and demand the same from each staff member
- Communicate with the corporate office team
- Lift upwards of 25 pounds when necessary
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Sales Management Experience
- Experience in coaching and developing employees
- Excellent sales skills and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards
- Customer management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier, and fax
