About the position

The Verizon Wireless Retail Store Manager at Mobile Generation is responsible for leading a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets. This role involves training staff on product knowledge, managing store operations, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, particularly in the wireless industry, and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Build a positive, customer and goal-oriented environment.
  • Interview, hire, schedule, and supervise a team of Verizon Wireless Sales Associates.
  • Meet or exceed both personal and team key performance indicators each month.
  • Coach/mentor your team daily to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensure the assigned location operates under the specific guidelines of Verizon Wireless and Mobile Generation.
  • Execute promotional rollouts, inventory procedures, and other tasks assigned by leadership in a timely manner.
  • Set an example of personal and professional conduct for employees and others.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless business.
  • Proof of achievement in prior sales and leadership roles.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and inspire team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
