About the position

The AT&T Wireless Retail Store Manager at Blue Link Wireless is responsible for leading the store's operations and sales team, ensuring that sales goals and customer service standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills to develop and coach the sales team, manage inventory and cash, and foster a positive store culture. The manager will also be involved in recruiting, training, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures, while providing an extraordinary customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of an AT&T Authorized Retail Store
  • Achieve store sales goals and service performance requirements
  • Foster a positive store culture for employees and customers
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels and control inventory and cash shrink
  • Recruit, train and develop high performing Sales Advocates
  • Discipline Sales Advocates as necessary and in conformance with Company policies and procedures
  • Lead weekly staff meetings to increase sales and product knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with AT&T and Company requirements for merchandising and other requirements
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all products, accessories, pricing plans, promotions, and service features
  • Provide critical market feedback to the Area Sales Leader regarding local competition and product/service needs
  • Ensure an extraordinary customer experience
  • Work evenings, weekends and/or holidays as reflected on a published and approved schedule

Requirements

  • Two plus years of retail wireless management experience
  • Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or related industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to expertly use and teach others to use wireless technology and services
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment
  • Well-developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and wireless retail systems
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls
  • Strategic perspective and the ability to champion change
  • Inspiring your team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Utilizing professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues
  • Taking initiative and striving to create results
  • Possess a competitive spirit and desire to meet and exceed sales goals
