About the position

The Retail Sales Representative (RSR) at GP Mobile serves as a brand ambassador for T-Mobile, engaging customers in a fast-paced retail environment. This role focuses on building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and demonstrating the latest technology products. RSRs are expected to immerse themselves in the T-Mobile brand, continuously learn about products and services, and contribute to a positive team culture while achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers continue their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions for customers.
  • Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools to enhance customer interactions and onboarding.
  • Educate customers on T-Mobile's coverage and service plans.
  • Complete training on T-Mobile's in-store experience and new skills.
  • Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance customer experience.
  • Identify and hand off small business leads.
  • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
