About the position

The Retail Sales Representative (RSR) at GP Mobile serves as a brand ambassador for T-Mobile, engaging customers in a fast-paced retail environment. This role focuses on building relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions through hands-on demonstrations of products and services. RSRs are expected to complete training and continuously develop their skills while contributing to a positive customer experience and team initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers continue their shopping journey seamlessly, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store to meet individual customer needs.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to offer personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools to enhance customer interactions and onboarding processes.
  • Educate customers on T-Mobile's coverage and services, emphasizing the benefits of staying connected.
  • Complete training on T-Mobile's in-store experience and stay informed about innovations in wireless technology.
  • Collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues.
  • Identify and refer small business leads to appropriate channels.
  • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment
