About the position
The Wireless Sales Consultant position at MarketSource, Inc. is designed to enhance sales and revenue within the wireless ecosystem, including electronics, mobile phones, accessories, and digital services. This full-time role involves proactively engaging with customers in retail locations, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales productivity. The consultant will also participate in training sessions and develop relationships with retail store management and employees.
Responsibilities
- Driving sales productivity and customer satisfaction within retail locations on various wireless products, accessories, and services.
- Engaging in side-by-side selling with retail associates.
- Participating in in-store promotions and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
- Participating in wireless sales events in retailer locations.
- Maintaining sound knowledge of multiple carriers' wireless products and services.
- Attending requested training sessions and conference calls.
- Reviewing new product and service offerings from our client retailer.
- Establishing and managing critical relationships within the program.
- Developing and managing positive business relationships with retail store management and employees.
Requirements
- Proficient in retail sales, including stocking, POS, and product demos.
- Strong customer service skills with experience in cash register operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Experience in upselling and technology sales is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice-to-haves
- Multilingual abilities, especially in Spanish, are highly desirable for this role.
