About the position

The Wireless Sales Manager at OSL Retail Services is responsible for leading a team of wireless retail professionals to deliver exceptional in-store sales experiences. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, operational excellence, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The manager will inspire and develop team members while maintaining compliance with operational guidelines and fostering an inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve all key business objectives including sales, revenue, and client experience.
  • Follow operational guidelines to ensure compliance standards are met and sales processes are accurately completed.
  • Communicate effectively to achieve sales targets including new activations, upgrades, and accessory sales.
  • Proactively contact customers and execute all steps of the OSL sales program.
  • Develop realistic action plans within time and resource constraints.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and motivation to the team around salesmanship and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels according to OSL's payroll guidelines.
  • Record all scheduled shifts and ensure compliance with clocking in/out guidelines.
  • Follow progressive performance management guidelines as required.
  • Ensure adherence to store safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years of retail and management experience.
  • Experience in the wireless or electronics sectors is an asset.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and service while achieving operational standards.
  • Proven ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment, human resources, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer service orientation with a sense of urgency and detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License or Passport.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the wireless or electronics sectors is considered an asset.
