About the position

The Lead Mobile Expert is responsible for building and leading a team of wireless retail professionals to deliver exceptional in-store sales experiences. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, operational excellence, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The Lead Mobile Expert will inspire and develop team members while maintaining compliance with operational guidelines and fostering an inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve all key business objectives including sales, revenue, and client experience.
  • Follow operational guidelines to ensure compliance standards are met and sales processes are accurately completed.
  • Communicate effectively to achieve sales targets including new activations, upgrades, prepaid, accessory sales, and other KPIs.
  • Proactively contact customers and execute all steps of the OSL sales program as outlined.
  • Develop realistic action plans within time and resource constraints.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, inspiration, and motivation to the team around salesmanship, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the store is appropriately staffed at all times according to OSL's payroll guidelines.
  • Record all scheduled shifts, including clocking in/out as per guidelines.
  • Follow proper progressive performance management guidelines as required.
  • Ensure all store safety and security policies and procedures are followed.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years' retail and management experience.
  • Experience within the wireless or electronics sectors is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and service while achieving operational standards through field teams.
  • Proven ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment, human resources, coaching, performance management, and US employment standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer service orientation with a sense of urgency, detail-oriented, problem solver, and results-focused.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Possess a Real Driver's License or Passport.
