As a Wireless System Automation Development Engineer at Apple, you will play a pivotal role in the Wireless Hardware group, focusing on the automation development for the characterization of cutting-edge wireless System-on-Chip (SoC) products. This position is not just about technical expertise; it’s about leading a team that is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of wireless connectivity. You will be responsible for creating and implementing the automation infrastructure that is essential for the silicon design group, ensuring that the characterization, regression, and reporting frameworks are robust and efficient. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the performance of Apple’s products, enabling innovative experiences that leverage advanced sensor technology. The ultimate goal is to ensure seamless connections between customers and their devices, making their interactions with technology more intuitive and powerful. In this lead role, you will be at the forefront of developing test automation systems that include equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, and database interfaces. You will also be responsible for establishing traceability and repeatability in automation infrastructure, utilizing tools such as GIT and CI. Your experience with Python and/or C/C++ will be crucial as you work with wireless test lab equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, and power meters.
