About the position

The Wireline Operations Manager at Nine Energy Service is responsible for directing, administering, and coordinating the activities of the Operations organization to support the company's policies, goals, and objectives. This role involves overseeing operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing a team of subordinate supervisors to achieve business objectives. The manager will also engage with various support functions and represent the organization with customers, while actively participating in employee engagement and morale initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the activities of the Operations organization.
• Reviews production and operating reports to resolve operational issues.
• Determines responsibilities of assigned staff to meet business objectives.
• Coordinates service activities with other functions and suppliers.
• Directs technical services related to oil well drilling and production.
• Ensures readiness and availability of all operational equipment.
• Conducts field visits to maintain employee engagement and morale.
• Manages hiring, training, and performance appraisal of employees.
• Ensures compliance with company and government policies and regulations.
• Assists in preparing short-term and long-range plans and budgets.
• Evaluates overall operations and reports results to senior management.
• Maintains effective communication within the Operations group.
• Represents the organization with customers and authorizes procurement of necessary equipment.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 5 years of related experience in operations management.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat and Airbrake Endorsement preferred.
• Advanced knowledge in Pump Down and Logging Operations.
• Advanced knowledge of Wireline Tools.
