About the position

The Wiring Technician role at Aerotek involves building and wiring electrical products using hand tools and test equipment. The technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the products by fabricating components, examining wiring connections, and testing circuits for malfunctions. This position is fully onsite in Glasgow, Kentucky, and offers a first shift schedule with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Utilize basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, hand drills, and wire cutters.
• Use test equipment including voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to check the quality of products.
• Examine wiring for loose or faulty connections.
• Test wiring circuits for malfunctions and locate root causes.
• Label each wire.

Requirements

• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency in wiring control panels.
• Experience using hand tools and testing equipment.
• Knowledge in electrical assembly and panel wiring.
