About the position

The Wealth Management Banker at U.S. Bank is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience to affluent customers. This role involves managing and developing client relationships, providing expert advice on wealth management products, and collaborating with various entities to offer a comprehensive range of financial services. The position requires a proactive approach to client engagement and a deep understanding of clients' financial needs and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure collaboration among relevant entities to deliver U.S. Bank products and services to affluent clients.
  • Develop, manage, and retain client relationships for Affluent Wealth Management.
  • Provide expert advice and counsel in affluent wealth banking client relationships.
  • Engage in proactive contact with assigned and prospective clients to understand their needs and goals.
  • Recommend appropriate product and service solutions based on client discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Wealth Management private banking or financial services.
  • Current FINRA Series 6-63 or Series 7-63 licenses.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong relationship management, sales, and business development skills.
  • Basic understanding of Wealth products and offerings.
  • Basic competency in Financial Planning.
  • Ability to engage in wealth discussions with clients to increase book of business.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
