About the position

The Wealth Management Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager at Morgan Stanley is responsible for consolidating and reporting segment income statements and performance metrics for the retail business. This role involves analyzing actual results, preparing forecasts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. The position plays a critical role in financial oversight and strategic planning within the Finance Division, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Weekly rolling forecast consolidation with variance analysis closely working with business-facing Finance teams
• Monthly review and reconciliation of actual results, including the processing of consolidating eliminations
• Tracking of month-end close with key focus on forecast vs. actual results analysis
• Preparation of quarterly reporting decks including the WM Due Diligence package
• Data submission for quarterly regulatory reports
• General and ad hoc involvement with the segment budget and Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review (CCAR) multi-year forecast preparation

Requirements

• BS/BA degree required
• 3+ years post-college experience in financial services industry
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, manage expectations and complete deliverables in a timely manner with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal collaboration and team skills including working with cross-functional teams - proven flexibility, adaptability and reliability
• Expert level knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Excellent presentation skills
