About the position

The Women's Case Manager position at House of Hope (HOH) is a part-time role focused on assisting women in a residential program. The role is essential for supporting clients in their recovery journey by assessing their needs, connecting them with resources, and providing therapeutic interventions. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical staff and community partners to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients, while also maintaining accurate documentation and promoting a safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach women's groups on topics such as recovery education, relapse prevention, self-sufficiency, conflict resolution, and communication.
  • Link women with community resources that enhance their recovery process.
  • Work professionally with community partners and coordinate with case workers from agencies like DCFS and Probation and Parole.
  • Complete all necessary documentation with a high level of computer proficiency and time management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn from each other's successes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Willingness to work toward Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) or Advanced SUDC (ASUDC) or Social Service Worker (SSW) licensure.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to plan creative activities.
  • Assertive communication skills with good boundaries and stress management.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn data entry systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in time management.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit or social services environment.
