The Community Living Leader at Atlanta Mission plays a vital role in providing leadership and support to Community Living Assistants (CLAs) and clients within a Christian ministry context. This position is essential for ensuring that the mission's values are upheld while delivering life-transforming experiences to those served. The Community Living Leader supervises team members across various shifts, including weekends, and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of community living services. This includes providing guidance, training, and performance management to CLAs, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the needs of clients effectively. In this role, the Community Living Leader will plan the utilization of the team, assign duties, and serve as a backup during the absence of CLAs. They will prepare monthly schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage and develop and update manuals that document community living guidelines, policies, and procedures. The leader will also be responsible for setting goals and plans to prioritize and organize community living-related job duties, resolving conflicts, and providing resolutions for clients as needed. Additionally, the Community Living Leader will track bed counts, assignments, and movements of clients, manage communication between clients and team members, and ensure that service delivery is complete. They will work closely with the Client Support Services team to maintain cleanliness and safety within the facility and collaborate with Volunteer/Partnerships Coordinators to implement volunteer services. Monthly statistical and narrative reports will be prepared, and the leader will assist with public relations and marketing efforts by leading in-house tours.
