About the position

The Social Media and Marketing Fellow will coordinate and manage a comprehensive communications strategy for the Women's Health and Empowerment Initiative at the Allyn Family Foundation. This full-time, two-year position focuses on advancing women's health work through digital marketing, social media management, and administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Design a marketing strategy utilizing a broad range of platforms to grow market awareness among diverse target segments.
• Oversee daily social media engagement across Layla's platforms.
• Create marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and banners following the established Brand Guide.
• Regularly update and refresh the Layla website.
• Identify and cultivate new partner relationships for marketing purposes.
• Provide technical assistance in the design of marketing collateral and logos.
• Write and review newsletters, social media posts, e-blasts, and similar public-facing correspondence.
• Design materials including annual reports, PowerPoint presentations, and program briefs for the AFF Board of Directors and partners.
• Assist with various administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in social media management and marketing.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks among competing projects.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on deadlines.
• Proficiency in content drafting, design, and editing.
• Fluency in design platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and similar tools.
• Understanding of social media analytics and search engine optimization.
