About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Women's Health NP, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to women throughout their lifespan, focusing on reproductive health, gynecological issues, and overall wellness. The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and a commitment to promoting women's health and empowerment. In this role, you will conduct thorough health assessments, screenings, and physical examinations related to women's health. You will diagnose and treat various reproductive and gynecological conditions, developing and implementing evidence-based care plans tailored to individual patient needs. You will provide family planning counseling, contraceptive management, and education, perform routine and specialized gynecological exams, including Pap smears and breast examinations, and offer preconception counseling and support for women planning pregnancies. You will collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare providers to offer comprehensive prenatal care, monitor fetal development, provide education on pregnancy-related issues, and address any concerns. Additionally, you will offer postpartum care and support to promote maternal well-being. Educating patients on women's health issues, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices will be a key part of your responsibilities, as well as conducting community outreach programs and workshops to raise awareness about women's health. Collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams will be essential to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. You will communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, participate in case conferences, and maintain open lines of communication to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a specialization in Women's Health.
• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida.
• Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) or equivalent.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
