About the position

The Women's Locker Room Attendant at The Minikahda Club is a seasonal position focused on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a pristine environment for club members and their guests. This role requires a commitment to hospitality, ensuring that all amenities are available and that the locker room is kept clean and organized. The attendant will welcome members and guests, anticipate their needs, and assist them throughout their visit to the club. Understanding the club's rules and regulations, as well as the specific policies and procedures of the locker room, is essential for success in this role. In addition to providing a warm welcome, the attendant will be responsible for the maintenance of members' and guests' shoes, which includes cleaning, polishing, and replacing laces as necessary. The attendant will also manage guest lockers, assisting guests in locating their lockers, providing locks, and ensuring that all desired amenities are readily available. Keeping the locker room clean is a top priority, which involves frequent dusting, washing floors, cleaning mirrors, sanitizing restrooms and showers, and vacuuming carpeted areas. The attendant must ensure that the bathroom and shower facilities meet the high standards expected at a premier golf club. Inventory management is another key responsibility, as the attendant will need to restock complimentary items such as hand towels, bath towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, combs, deodorant, hair products, and mouthwash. Being receptive to member feedback and actively seeking ways to enhance the member experience is also an important aspect of this role. Overall, the Women's Locker Room Attendant plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all club members and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Spread hospitality and goodwill among all members, guests, and fellow staff.
  • Welcome all members and guests to the Locker Room and anticipate their daily needs.
  • Understand the entire operation, including club rules and locker room policies.
  • Conduct maintenance on members' and guests' shoes, including cleaning and polishing.
  • Maintain and assign guest lockers, assisting guests in locating them and providing locks.
  • Keep the locker room clean and organized, including dusting, washing floors, and sanitizing facilities.
  • Maintain bathroom and shower cleanliness to the standards of a premier golf club.
  • Empty garbage cans and towel baskets in locker and bathroom facilities.
  • Inventory and restock complimentary items as needed, including towels and toiletries.
  • Be open to member feedback and suggest improvements to enhance the member experience.

Requirements

  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent people skills, even under stressful situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently and neatly.
  • Ability to prioritize customer needs and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Moderate strength and physical fitness, able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
