About the position

We are seeking a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly with WordPress, and will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality websites. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Customize themes and plugins to meet project specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance.
• Implement best practices for SEO optimization and website security.
• Conduct regular updates and maintenance on existing sites.

Requirements

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, CSS, and web services.
• Experience using WordPress building techniques such as ACF, Divi, Elementor, and other popular builders.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, including themes and plugins.
• Knowledge of popular WordPress plugins for form building, SEO, speed improvements, and more.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Must be local to our Rochester, MI office.
