About the position

As a WordPress Developer in the IT Division, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and securing six WordPress applications. This hybrid position requires a strong focus on full stack development to support the client's mission in highway safety emergency messaging and recruitment, while collaborating closely with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Working across the full stack in WordPress to build new features and services
• Developing solutions in WordPress that support positive accessible user experiences in both desktop and mobile environments
• Debugging and security remediations for public facing applications
• Working with agile development methodologies adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in WordPress application development, Required 5 Years
• Proficiency in PHP coding and debugging, Required 5 Years
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Required 5 Years
• Understanding of SQL, Required 5 Years
• Understanding of REST API, Required 5 Years
• Ability to work as team member on web development projects end-to-end, Required 5 Years
• Proven knowledge of back-end/infrastructure maintenance and optimization and UX/UI principles, Required 5 Years
• Proven knowledge of secure coding practices, Required 5 Years
• Outstanding communication skills, Required 5 Years
