About the position

DeltaV Digital is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join their team in Fort Collins, CO. The role involves designing and implementing custom WordPress websites, optimizing them for performance and SEO, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly with WordPress, and will be able to work autonomously while contributing to a positive and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom WordPress websites using WP Astra Theme and SiteOrigin Page Builder.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of high-quality, user-friendly websites.
• Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress websites.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current web development trends and standards.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress developments and features.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in WordPress development, including proficiency with SiteOrigin Page Builder and WP Astra theme (preferred but not required).
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first approaches.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
