About the position

The WordPress Developer at VTal Technology Solutions is responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress applications, focusing on creating new features and ensuring a positive user experience across both desktop and mobile platforms. Responsibilities

• Working across the full stack in WordPress to build new features and services
• Developing solutions in WordPress that support positive, accessible user experiences in both desktop and mobile environments
• Debugging and security remediations for public facing applications

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in WordPress application development
• Proficiency in PHP coding and debugging
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of SQL
• Understanding of REST API
• Proven knowledge of back-end/infrastructure maintenance and optimization and UX/UI principles
• Proven knowledge of secure coding practices
• Ability to work as team member on web development projects end-to-end
• Outstanding communication skills
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in information sciences, computer science, or a related field; considerable software implementation experience
