About the position

We are seeking a skilled and innovative WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for web development and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to create and maintain high-quality WordPress websites. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver exceptional digital experiences that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and user-friendly web designs.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, including bugs and compatibility problems.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed for enhanced website capabilities.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of all web projects.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.

Requirements

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Ansible for automation tasks is a plus.
• Understanding of D3.js for data visualization would be beneficial.
• Experience with SASS for CSS preprocessing is preferred.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or Python is an advantage.
• Understanding of .NET framework can be a plus for certain projects.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture principles related to web applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
