About the position

MaidCentral is looking for a talented WordPress Web Developer & Graphic Designer to manage and enhance their WordPress website. This hybrid role combines web development, graphic design, and SEO optimization, requiring a creative and tech-savvy individual who can create visually appealing and secure web experiences.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and maintain MaidCentral's WordPress website, focusing on functionality, design, and user experience.
• Conduct keyword research and optimize on-page elements to improve the site's search engine ranking.
• Establish robust security protocols to safeguard the website and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Create unique and engaging graphics for web and social media using Adobe Creative Suite and generative AI tools.
• Experiment with AI-based design and content creation tools to develop innovative visual and interactive elements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in WordPress development and maintenance.
• Proficient in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with PHP is a plus.
• Strong SEO knowledge and experience implementing SEO best practices.
• Skilled in graphic design tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
• Understanding of web security protocols, including malware prevention, SSL, and backup strategies.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., DALL-E, Midjourney, Runway ML) to aid in graphic creation and website enhancements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google Analytics and other tracking tools for performance monitoring.
• Knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
• Basic proficiency in UX/UI design principles to improve user engagement and experience.
• Familiarity with responsive design and cross-platform compatibility.
• Prior experience in SaaS or B2B environments.
