About the position

As a WordPress Web Developer at Killerspots Agency, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging, user-focused websites that reflect the brand identity and meet client needs. This role requires a blend of technical skills and creative flair, working closely with designers, developers, and clients to bring unique visions to life on the web.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand web design goals and objectives.
• Create wireframes or mockups to bring design concepts to life.
• Develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, PHP, and Bootstrap, optimizing for cross-device performance.
• Implement usability best practices to ensure accessibility and user engagement.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve designs based on user interactions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web design and development.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate design elements smoothly.

Requirements

• Proficiency with WordPress
• Strong experience with web design
• Graphic design proficiency preferred, with knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices
• Familiarity with SQL and database management related to web projects (a plus)
• Ability to create responsive designs
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, visually engaging designs.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP a plus!
• 3 years of experience in WordPress Web Design preferred.
