About the position

RGV Web Design LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced in-house WordPress web developer to join our team in McAllen, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience with WordPress development and be capable of managing client websites. This role requires strong foundational skills, a willingness to learn new techniques and technologies, and the ability to apply SEO best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain WordPress websites for various clients, ensuring functionality, security, and performance.
• Customize themes, plugins, and templates to meet client needs.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement new features and design changes.
• Troubleshoot issues, bugs, and update websites as required.
• Ensure SEO best practices are applied across all client websites.
• Provide technical support and updates for existing client websites.
• Stay up to date with new trends and technologies in web development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of WordPress development experience.
• Knowledge of WordPress theme customization and plugin management.
• Basic understanding of SEO.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and client needs.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Must be able to work in-house in McAllen, Texas.
