We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Word Processor. This position is essential in ensuring that our documentation is accurate and professionally presented. The role involves transcribing letters, reports, and other recorded data using dictation equipment, electric typewriters, and/or word processing typewriters. The dictation will encompass a normal range of business vocabulary along with specialized insurance business terminology, which requires attention to detail and a good understanding of the language used in our industry. In addition to transcription duties, the Word Processor will be responsible for making necessary corrections, revisions, and retyping as needed. Maintaining equipment in a clean and workable condition is also a key responsibility, as is assisting in the handling of necessary supplies. The role may also involve preparing mail and filing as required, along with assisting in other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere upon request. This position offers the flexibility of a work-from-home arrangement after initial in-person training, as defined by the leadership team, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking a balance between work and personal life.
