About the position

The Work Execution Principal position at PG&E is responsible for managing program implementation and operations within the Electric Operations business unit. This role involves ensuring effective program operations, leading cross-functional projects, and providing strategic leadership to support company goals. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work twice a week, and focuses on delivering insights and analytics to aid in the execution of PG&E's annual work portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Represent PG&E in regulatory and industry forums as a subject matter expert.
  • Manage major cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced employees.
  • Solve unique and complex problems, anticipating issues and developing innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrate strategic leadership with internal stakeholders to support company goals.
  • Lead the development of program goals and metrics to meet company objectives.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure alignment of goals.
  • Develop significant input to PG&E leadership and industry decision makers to influence regulatory strategies.
  • Lead analysis efforts on variances, unit and cost forecasts, and operational trends.
  • Prepare Weekly and Monthly Operating Reviews for Electric Distribution leadership using lean methodologies.
  • Create tools to analyze operational, productivity, and efficiency metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of job-related experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in a job-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • PMI-Project Management Institute PMP certification.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $140,000 to $238,000 based on experience and location.
