About the position

The Supporting Team Lead at Bluecore Staffing LLC is responsible for coordinating personnel and activities to meet customer demand and manage the daily production schedule. This role involves working closely with the Production Supervisor and Senior Lead to prioritize staffing assignments and ensure the ongoing production of safe and defect-free products.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing production of safe and defect free products.
  • Coordinate with supporting departments such as quality, engineering, and sanitation to ensure product integrity.
  • Use problem solving skills to ensure stable operation of the production area.
  • Support Operations as needed including operation of machinery.
  • Monitor the production process and report any abnormal conditions to the Senior Lead and the Production Supervisor.
  • In conjunction with the Senior Team Lead, coordinate and execute training for department personnel on safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (cGDP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Communicate and provide status updates to senior management, during meetings, and at shift change.
  • Using Good Documentation Practices (GDP), ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to produce a quality good that can be safely delivered to our customers.
  • Follow all required work safety practices, including wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Familiar with work order processes and proficient with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Possess basic math skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
  • Must be able to work in an environment where you are exposed to sensitive food ingredients and allergens.
  • Work well in a fast-paced and always changing manufacturing environment.
  • Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves
