About the position

The Workday Benefits Implementation Lead, Manager at Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) is responsible for leading the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Benefits workstream. This role involves managing the implementation of Workday technology to enhance human resources and talent management processes for clients. The manager will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, facilitate discovery and design workshops, and provide strategic recommendations based on industry best practices. The position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to coach and develop team members, and a focus on delivering high-quality results while managing project economics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Workday HCM Benefits workstream and manage at least three full Workday implementations.
  • Gather business requirements through facilitating discovery and design workshops.
  • Lead functional discovery and design sessions, translating business requirements into configuration elements.
  • Prepare concise, polished deliverables while collaborating across teams.
  • Provide recommendations based on leading practices and relevant industry experience.
  • Manage touchpoints with related Workday functional modules, including Core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Recruiting.
  • Identify and address client needs while building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Manage resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
  • Participate and lead client discussions and meetings, ensuring project economics are maintained.
  • Supervise teams to create an atmosphere of trust and encourage diverse views for improvement and innovation.
  • Coach less-experienced staff and provide timely feedback.

Requirements

  • Management experience in human capital management.
  • Senior level leadership skills.
  • Experience with Workday technology and implementations.
  • Ability to analyze complex ideas and build meaningful recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills to simplify complex messages and build consensus.
