About the position

As a Workday Technical Manager at Accenture, you will lead the design and integration of Workday solutions, ensuring effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information. Your role involves identifying and solving complex business problems related to Workday integrations, overseeing the development process, and collaborating with clients and third-party vendors to deliver successful integration projects. You will also be responsible for managing project timelines, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of integration methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of data and integrations from point to point systems and holistic interchange services.
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating Workday with external applications.
  • Lead the design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB, and third-party coding.
  • Oversee integration delivery and manage the integration development process.
  • Lead Discovery sessions with clients for domain-specific integrations.
  • Deliver requirements and design documents to developers, ensuring timelines and quality are met.
  • Engage with third-party vendors as required and follow strategic direction set by leadership.
  • Collaborate with client counterparts to successfully deliver on shared objectives.
  • Identify and escalate risks, developing alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.
  • Lead the identification of process improvements based on project experience.

Requirements

  • Workday Partner Certification
  • Minimum of 4 years of consulting experience in a lead role
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on Workday Integrations experience
  • Leadership experience with a minimum of 4 years in US and/or Global Integrations Operations
  • Experience with modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience); if Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extensive experience in designer and developer roles with ability to deliver coded integration work to production.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and frequent changes.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Referenceable experience with Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent) and PowerPoint.
