About the position

The Workday Finance - Solution Studio Architect, Senior Manager role at PwC involves providing consulting services for Workday finance applications. The position focuses on analyzing client requirements, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support to optimize financial processes and improve financial reporting. As a strategic advisor, the Senior Manager will leverage their expertise to deliver quality results, motivate teams, and navigate complex challenges while ensuring alignment with PwC's standards and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client needs and implement Workday finance software solutions.
• Provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of Workday finance applications.
• Influence and shape solutioning of large opportunities early in the deal cycle with clients and pursuit teams.
• Direct the team through complexity and demonstrate composure in challenging situations.
• Develop and sustain high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams.
• Craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story.
• Validate outcomes with clients and act on their feedback.
• Identify project risks and incorporate them into the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Engage with pricing desk for pricing insights and coordinate project staffing.
• Lead the migration strategy for historical financial data into Workday Financials.

Requirements

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
• Workday Services functional certification(s) preferably in Financial Management, Financials, Record to, and/or Engagement Manager certification.
• Extensive experience in end-to-end multi-platform solutioning and industry expertise in Workday Financials.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Workday Financials functionalities including Foundation Data Model and Financial reporting.
• Knowledge of financial compliance standards such as SOX, IFRS, and GAAP.
• Ability to architect integrated solutions with Workday Financials and other enterprise systems.
