About the position

At PwC, the role focuses on providing consulting services for Workday human capital management (HCM) applications. The position involves analyzing client requirements, implementing HCM software solutions, and providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of Workday HCM applications. The consultant will enable clients to optimize their human resources processes, enhance talent management, and achieve strategic objectives while also motivating and developing team members to deliver quality results.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client needs and implement HCM software solutions.
  • Provide training and support for seamless integration of Workday HCM applications.
  • Coach and manage team performance to meet client expectations.
  • Identify opportunities that contribute to the success of the firm.
  • Lead the HCM Core workstream and manage at least three full Workday implementations.
  • Facilitate discovery and design workshops to gather business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into configuration elements during functional discovery and design sessions.
  • Prepare concise and polished deliverables while collaborating across teams.
  • Manage touchpoints with related Workday functional modules.
  • Participate and lead client discussions and meetings.
  • Supervise teams to create an atmosphere of trust and encourage diverse views.
  • Provide direction and mentorship to less-experienced staff.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Management, or Computer and Information Science.
  • Workday Services functional certification(s) preferably HCM Core and/or Engagement Manager certification.
  • Extensive experience managing client needs and leading HCM Core workstreams.
  • Experience with at least three full Workday implementations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing project economics and maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues.
  • Ability to prepare and coordinate complex written and verbal materials.
  • Experience in coaching staff and providing timely feedback.
