About the position

The Workday HCM Implementation Lead, Manager at PwC is responsible for providing consulting services for Workday human capital management (HCM) applications. This role involves analyzing client requirements, implementing HCM software solutions, and offering training and support to ensure seamless integration and utilization of Workday HCM applications. The position emphasizes leadership, coaching, and the development of team members while ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
• Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop skills outside your comfort zone, and encourage others to do the same.
• Effectively mentor others and use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.
• Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Management, or Computer and Information Science.
• Workday Services functional certification(s) preferably HCM Core and/or Engagement Manager certification.
• Experience managing the identification and addressing of client needs with at least three full Workday implementations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience gathering business requirements through facilitating discovery and design workshops.
• Ability to lead functional discovery and design sessions, translating business requirements into configuration elements.
• Experience managing touchpoints with related Workday functional modules, including Core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Recruiting.
