About the position

The Workday HCM Implementation Lead at PwC is responsible for providing consulting services for Workday human capital management (HCM) applications. This role involves analyzing client requirements, implementing HCM software solutions, and providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of Workday HCM applications. The position emphasizes leadership, motivating and developing team members, and ensuring quality delivery to meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and implement HCM software solutions.
• Provide training and support for seamless integration of Workday HCM applications.
• Lead the HCM Core workstream and manage at least three full Workday implementations.
• Facilitate discovery and design workshops to gather business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into configuration elements during functional discovery and design sessions.
• Prepare concise and polished deliverables while working across teams.
• Manage touchpoints with related Workday functional modules, including Core HCM and Recruiting.
• Participate and lead client discussions and meetings, ensuring project economics are maintained.
• Supervise teams to create an atmosphere of trust and encourage diverse views for improvement.
• Coach and mentor less-experienced staff, providing timely feedback.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Management, or Computer and Information Science preferred.
• Workday Services functional certification(s) preferably HCM Core and/or Engagement Manager certification preferred.
• Extensive experience managing client needs and leading HCM implementations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with advanced compensation and recruiting modules in Workday.
• Strong communication skills for managing client relationships and project workflows.
