Responsibilities

  • Lead the Workday HCM US Payroll workstream while having experience with at least three full Workday implementations.
  • Gather business requirements through facilitating discovery and design workshops.
  • Lead functional discovery and design sessions, including the translation of business requirements into configuration elements.
  • Prepare concise, polished deliverables, collaborating across teams as needed.
  • Provide recommendations based on leading practices and relevant industry experience.
  • Manage touchpoints with related Workday functional modules, including Core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Recruiting.
  • Identify and address client needs while building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement.
  • Communicate value propositions; manage resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections.
  • Prepare and/or coordinate complex written and verbal materials; participate and lead client discussions and meetings.
  • Manage engagements or dedicated workstreams, including preparing concise, accurate documents and maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues.
  • Supervise teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation.
  • Answer questions and provide direction to less-experienced staff; coach staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 6 years of Workday product experience
  • Preferred Degree: Master Degree
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management, Organizational Management, Computer and Information Science
  • Preferred Certification(s): Workday Services functional certification(s) preferably Payroll and/or Engagement Manager certification

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday HCM Canada, UK, etc.
  • Demonstrated extensive-level abilities in managing client needs and leading teams.
