About the position

The Workday HCM Project Manager will oversee the implementation and management of the Workday HR module, focusing on enhancing HR functions and ensuring successful technology adoption. This role involves leading various projects, including the integration of new software and tools, while managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships. The position is hybrid, requiring three days on-site per week, and is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of the Workday HR module and related projects.
• Lead and direct work across various functional teams and vendor services.
• Facilitate discussions to translate business needs into technology requirements.
• Oversee the performance and delivery of large cross-functional system development projects.
• Utilize project management tools to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party developers and suppliers.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to user experience and business processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Workday HCM or similar HR technology.
• Experience managing project implementations in the healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions and end-to-end HR business processes.
• Proven expertise in technology project management and strategic planning.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project and Monday.com.
• Active Workday PM certification is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Workday HCM or other Workday HR subject areas is a plus.
• Expertise in Workday methodology.
