About the position

The Workday Integration Consultant will be responsible for developing and maintaining integration systems across the Workday platform, with a focus on payroll integrations. This role requires translating business requirements into well-architected solutions, troubleshooting integration issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical objects. The consultant will also analyze business processes and provide proposals for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Workday platform.
• Troubleshoot, develop, and maintain integration systems across the Workday integration platform.
• Build and debug custom reports, EIBs, connectors, document transforms, XSLT, calculated fields, BIRT, and Workday studio.
• Analyze business processes, perform fit-gap analysis, and provide proposals on inefficiencies and risks.
• Create functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to deliver technical objects.
• Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience working on the Workday platform.
• Strong experience with Workday project implementations and integrations, including ERP and third-party applications.
• Hands-on experience with configuration of Workday features such as user management, roles/profiles, permissions, and custom objects.
• Experience gathering requirements and building detailed functional design specifications.
• Experience building and debugging custom reports, EIBs, connectors, document transforms, XSLT, calculated fields, BIRT, and Workday studio.
• Experience collaborating with Integration resources in a highly integrated system landscape.
