About the position

The Manager - Global Application Managed Services (AMS) is responsible for providing expert guidance to the AMS management team and their members, ensuring successful end-user adoption during the Workday post-production lifecycle. This role involves assisting the sales team with various activities, leading a team of Workday consultants, and acting as a liaison between AMS teams and senior management. The Manager will also focus on identifying business needs, staffing projects, and maintaining a healthy work/life balance for consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Workday consultants across multiple engagements.
  • Act as the onshore Integration lead for assigned accounts, ensuring Workday Integration and/or Extend certification is maintained.
  • Apply and execute various AMS & Implementation methodologies in Workday FINS and/or HCM engagements.
  • Collaborate with the GDC team on day-to-day activities, incidents, and root cause analysis.
  • Provide on-call support and holiday coverage as required.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA constructs and coordinate with stakeholders to create high business impact.
  • Contribute to the operational efficiency of the Workday practice.
  • Develop reporting dashboards to improve Workday utilization and support metrics for IT and business.
  • Work with clients to identify and resolve issues impacting project scope and timeframe.
  • Maintain the Workday platform focusing on reporting, business process maintenance, security administration, and data audits.
  • Ensure system design meets user needs and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Drive continual business process improvements throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Workday (or other ERP) Consulting implementation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading a virtual team.
  • Sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects.
