About the position

The Workday Market Development team member at Accenture will focus on developing and expanding the Workday business by establishing and nurturing relationships with Workday field sales executives and Accenture stakeholders. This role is pivotal in identifying, building, and executing go-to-market strategies and sales opportunities, ultimately aiming to grow the pipeline of Accenture's Workday business through demand generation and co-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Workday and Accenture executive and field level relationships to align teams and grow market share of Accenture-Workday collaborative business.
  • Conduct sales origination activities, including executing joint account planning sessions between Accenture and Workday to identify new opportunity areas.
  • Facilitate and execute demand generation activities, including internal and joint enablement sessions, briefings, and events.
  • Master Accenture's Workday growth strategy and align it with regional business opportunities, evangelizing key messages to the field.
  • Work across Accenture's different entities and the Workday organization to connect the right SMEs with the right opportunities.
  • Maintain ownership of the book of business (co-sell) between Accenture and Workday, integrating it into timely and accurate reporting for Accenture leaders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales execution, sales enablement, alliance management, offering & program development or Workday client & market delivery.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Workday or similar software and solutions and Accenture Workday offerings.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in CMT Industry (Communications, Media, or High Tech).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working alongside Workday or other similar software partners with focused experience in partner strategy and sales.
  • Experience in go-to-market strategy and sales execution.
  • Experience working with partners and cross-functional teams to develop business opportunities.
