About the position

The Workday Market Development Director at Accenture is responsible for developing and expanding the Workday business by establishing and nurturing relationships with Workday field sales executives and Accenture stakeholders. This role focuses on executing go-to-market strategies, generating demand, and facilitating sales opportunities to grow Accenture's Workday pipeline. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of Workday solutions and Accenture's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Workday and Accenture executive and field level relationships to align teams and grow market share of Accenture-Workday collaborative business.
  • Conduct sales origination activities, including joint account planning sessions to identify new opportunity areas.
  • Facilitate and execute demand generation activities, including internal and joint enablement sessions and events.
  • Master Accenture's Workday growth strategy and align it with regional business opportunities.
  • Educate both Accenture and Workday on new go-to-market offerings and differentiators to increase win rates.
  • Work across Accenture's different entities and the Workday organization to connect the right SMEs with the right opportunities.
  • Maintain ownership of the book of business between Accenture and Workday and provide timely reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales execution, sales enablement, alliance management, or Workday client & market delivery.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Workday or similar software and solutions.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Communications, Media, or High Tech industry.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working alongside Workday or similar software partners with a focus on partner strategy and sales.
  • Experience in go-to-market strategy and sales execution.
  • Experience working with partners and cross-functional teams to develop business opportunities.
