About the position
The Workday Program Manager is responsible for collaborating with various cross-functional teams to optimize Workday applications, ensuring alignment with the organization's business objectives and enhancing operational efficiency. This role involves defining business outcomes that align with the company's overall strategy and managing program-level roadmaps and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Understand the business and assist in prioritizing projects to align with technology for maximum ROI.
- Own program level roadmaps, schedules, and development plans for assigned areas of focus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements for Workday applications, identifying dependencies, risks, and system-wide impact.
- Organize executive summaries for updates on critical projects and communicate plans, progress, results, and resource needs with leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate project core team meetings and decision-making, ensuring alignment with project team members and key business stakeholders.
- Work closely with development teams to drive the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday applications while maintaining documentation standards.
- Strive to improve and optimize Workday applications by leveraging new features and functionality.
- Deliver projects that enhance reliability, performance, and security of applications to meet current and future business needs.
- Ensure quality and reliability of Workday applications through rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures.
- Understand technology trends and their practical application to support the evolving business and operating model.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years' experience in a related field.
