About the position

The Workday Project Manager is a crucial role within the Workday AMS support team, responsible for overseeing and supporting customer Workday projects and optimization opportunities. This position involves managing both onshore and offshore teams to ensure a stable production environment and maximize the value customers derive from Workday. The role requires strong project management skills and a focus on customer satisfaction, while also facilitating problem-solving and supporting enhancements in the Workday system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage several Workday AMS customer engagements to ensure high satisfaction and grow UST revenue on accounts.
• Manage onshore and offshore UST Workday teams.
• Partner with customer teams live on Workday to support end users by resolving functional and configuration issues, ensuring data integrity, delivering enhancements, and achieving greater process efficiencies.
• Manage/support Workday system modules, support semi-annual upgrade processes, and deploy new functionality as approved.
• Facilitate problem solving between customer resources and subject matter experts/process owners.
• Provide Workday functional oversight for enhancements and development including business process configuration, testing, and other troubleshooting support.
• Work effectively to support client satisfaction and success, while growing UST's footprint and reputation.
• Work with global teams to lead teams and support customer engagements.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of Workday experience in a direct customer facing AMS/post-production support role.
• HCM or PM certified.
• Experience working with and leading offshore teams during projects and for ongoing support of Workday modules.
• Proactive attitude and approach to resolving issues and suggesting solutions.
• Good organizational skills and an excellent team player.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction while effectively managing client expectations.
• Strong project and account management experience.
